| Sapphire Fund Blue Ball Host-Pass/High-End Donor Reception March 23, 2006 — Individual giving and Host Pass purchases (which provide access to most main Blue Ball events) have been a cornerstone of the success of Blue Ball and Sapphire Fund for many years. To celebrate Blue Ball’s new month and new partnership with the Equality Forum, Mr. Matthew Izzo of Matthew Izzo Designs will host a stylish reception at 5:30 PM in his showroom at 1109 Walnut Street. Guests will enjoy Finlandia cocktails, Korbel champagne, h’ors d’oeuvres, stellar company, scintillating conversation, and learn about the benefits and rewards of purchasing a Host Pass or becoming a High-End Donor. Host Passes / $115 in advance, $125 after April 15 Host passes include admission to ShamBlue, Blue Ball: FUSION, and Metallic Blue. In addition, Host pass holders receive the Blue Ball CD, Blue Ball t-shirt, and a gift bag brimming with fun and useful coupons, gifts, goodies, and toys. Host passes are sold at $115 in advance, and $125 after April 15, 2006. Angel VIP Package / $1,000 minimum donation Our high-end donors, otherwise known as our Angels, are the backbone of Sapphire Fund providing us with the support and funding to make our mission of serving the GLBT community in Philadelphia a reality. High End Donor levels of support are Angel, $1,000; ArchAngel, $2,500 and Guardian Angel, $5,000. Angel supporters enjoy exclusive benefits throughout the Blue Ball weekend, including 2 VIP passes entitling admission to Friday evening's Sapphire Fund VIP Donor Reception, Sunday afternoon's Sapphire Fund Brunch, and ALL Blue Ball dance events. In addition, Angels will receive access to the VIP lounge at Fusion. High end individual donors have ensured the success of our fundraising and giving efforts over the year. Last year, we were able to give $51,000 to our beneficiaries, as well as establish the Sapphire Fund endowment. | Emerge 2006 — Women’s Event April 5, 2006 at Lulas Restaurant (12th & Locust) — Join us from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, Thursday, April 5th at Lula’s Restaurant to support eMerge, the hot new women’s party that will help kickoff the Sapphire Fund’s Blue Ball weekend during its new month in coming May. The April 5th event will give you an opportunity to learn more about and support this fabulous new women’s event, meet new and old friends, while enjoying complimentary h’ors d’oeuvres and discount cocktails at Lula’s, one of the Gayborhoods sauciest Spanish restaurants. Blue Ball is one of this nations most successful philanthropic dance events. The entire weekend is produced by volunteers, with every cent of profit donated to improving, encouraging and enlivening Philadelphia’s Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered community. And, AT LAST, this year will boast Emerge, the hot new women’s dance event to kick off the weekend!
